About Mike Rykse
My trading journey began in 2002 while pursuing a finance degree in college. A stock market
project opened my eyes to the incredible potential of active trading. I was especially drawn to
the options market for its flexibility and low capital requirements—an ideal starting point for a
college student. Thanks to a golf scholarship that covered my tuition, I was able to invest the
funds I had saved for school into launching my trading career.
Like many new traders, my initial success was more luck than strategy. That realization drove
me to seek out a structured, rules-based approach—ultimately leading me to NetPicks.
I started as a customer, and their trading systems proved to be the missing piece in my journey.
With a proven methodology in place, I gained the consistency and discipline needed to stay
active and profitable in the markets for over 20 years.
In 2008, I joined the NetPicks coaching team and have since had the privilege of working with
thousands of traders around the globe. From custom indicators to comprehensive mentorship
programs, I’ve helped develop a wide range of tools and training courses designed to support
traders at every level.
Having been a customer myself, I understand the challenges and frustrations traders face. That
experience fuels my commitment to helping others avoid common pitfalls and shorten their
